Het is perfect voor een decoratieve afwerking van een gebogen rand omdat het biais om de ronding heen buigt en versoepelt. Er zijn twee basistypen biaisband: enkelvoudig gevouwen biaisband en dubbelgevouwen biaisband. Wat is dan het verschil?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enkel<\/strong> <strong>biaisband vouwen<\/strong>\u00a0heeft twee plooien. Het is gemaakt van stroken stof die diagonaal zijn afgesneden en aan beide kanten naar binnen zijn gevouwen, zodat ze in het midden samenkomen. In de winkel gekocht enkelvoudig biaisband wordt handig om een stuk karton gewikkeld zodat het netjes opgeborgen kan worden.<\/p>\n<p>De meest gebruikte breedte is 1\/2 inch die wordt gebruikt voor het afwerken van halslijnen en armsgaten. Je kunt ervoor kiezen om het biaisband aan de binnenkant van het kledingstuk te naaien of aan de buitenkant voor een mooie contrasterende look.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dubbel<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>biaisband vouwen<\/strong>\u00a0heeft drie vouwen. Het wordt aan de randen gevouwen als enkelvoudig gevouwen tape en vervolgens weer dubbelgevouwen, waardoor het gemakkelijker rond de randen van je artikel te wikkelen is.<\/p>\n<p>Dubbelzijdige tapes zijn aan \u00e9\u00e9n kant iets breder, zodat je ze aan beide kanten kunt gebruiken tijdens het naaien.
